About Kay...

Kay has always had a compassionate attitude towards animals, starting from an early age, that lead to graduating from University with an Honours degree in Equine Sports Therapy. It was there in her final year she discovered her passion for veterinary science and realised the huge importance of uniting these aspects with complementary therapies, to benefit the whole horse. She feels this is often lacking at times and as a result keenly works alongside veterinarians and  other equine healthcare practitioners to ensure every animal receives the best possible care and attention. This also includes developing a strong relationship with both the owner and trainer to ensure everyone involved works as a team, with the horse’s health and welfare at heart.

Kay is closely linked to Equinology Inc, as she trains through the levels with the end goal of qualifying as a Master Equine Body Worker. As a result Kay has the opportunity of working alongside and learning from some of the very best in the industry, in her role as office manager and teaching assistant for Equinenergy Ltd (the UK sister company of Equinology).  Kay is continually kept up to date with the latest news within veterinary and therapeutic medicine from across the world. Due to her involvement in running the courses here in the UK, she is also available for one to one tutoring for the EQ100 EEBW certification externships. For further information on this please contact her on kay@equinenergy.com or visit www.equinenergy.com.

As a certified Equinology Equine Body Worker (EEBW) and member of the International Equine Body Worker Association (IEBWA), Kay is required to continue her studies through professional development and regularly attends conferences, clinics and courses in a variety of subjects. Not only through working with her client’s horses, she has and is constantly always learning from her own which is the reason for her passionate interest for rehabilitation, straightness training and correct hoof care.

My Aim: “is to provide my clients with the very best service and advice based on the knowledge and experience gained from my training and life lessons. To always have the horse's best interest at heart, while providing a support system for my clients, in aiding their own growth through bonding with their horse.
